A Peek into the Future

When I see my dreams and visions, when I read the coming astrology, when I see myself and my people trying to grapple and make peace with new realities, I am just like you and want to escape to Oz!

A little fantasy escapism never hurt anyone...but "sigh", it is a rabbit hole that is not healthy or helpful to go down too often.

So I'm gonna cut to the chase in this newsletter. I'm going to give you a peek into the future as I see it. I am going to answer some questions that I get asked about all the time, from my perspective and hope it is helpful to you.

1. Who's going to win the election?

2. Why is this happening?

3. What can I do about it?

In last month's newsletter, I wrote "The more grounded and stronger our roots, the better the chance we survive winter...

and winter is coming..." says the full moon on Halloween...

1. Who's going to win the election?

I can honestly say I don't know who is going to win the election. With Uranus heavily at play, the planet of surprises and unexpected events, and it rules elections, I can tell you that there will be several surprising reveals and possible shocking incidents before November 3 that could change everything, in a way we never saw coming.

The Full Moon in Taurus (with Sun in Scorpio, Mercury and Mars retrograde) is exact conjunct to Uranus 3 days before the election, on Halloween no less. That said, I can tell you that Mr. Trump has a slightly stronger astrological chance at victory that Mr. Biden.

And obviously no matter who wins many, many people will be unhappy and we will see more changes no matter which way it falls.

I have looked at Election Day, Electoral voting day, Inauguration Day, the USA chart, and the main candidates. It is probably no surprise that these charts are very challenging and litigious astrologically. With Mars retrograde and Mercury Retrograde stationing Direct on the day of the election, it will play a powerful role in a possible delayed at best and at worst temporary or flipped outcome.

Now before you go crazy with all that, this election has more astrological surprises laden within it than all of 2020 astrology, so I conclude with, "Wow, didn't see that one coming".

This is not easy for me to tell you. I know the anxiety it can trigger as we are all so in need of resolution, rest and peace.

I recently took some time off. I went to Yosemite, bathed in nature under the Full Moon near a babbling brook, so blessed to be with my family, and I did some of my own healing work.

I came home, taught my bi-weekly Vision class on Becoming Her, worked with a few clients and took some more time off. When the Universe tells me to slow down, I listen now. I know a wave is building and I am gathering my energy to surf it.

And so, I feel it's important to share my insights and knowledge so as to better prepare you.

Because ultimately, our resolution, rest and peace should not depend on our circumstances...are we getting that message loud and clear yet? I just don't want you to suffer needlessly.

We are Creating a New World and how you feel about it matters.

For those of you who have been following me and others for the last few years to do our inner work, this has been the prep for this time.

2. Why is this happening?

This is a complicated question with many layers and can be a rabbit hole in itself. But simply put, it is for the evolution of our Souls and Humanity.

Re on the human level, here in the United States, on the one hand we are in an extremely unique situation, the USA is young! And has been an exquisite experiment. And she is about to experience a Pluto return, she is about to be transformed, to reinvent herself so to speak. To drop what did not work and find higher expressions of herself. Please hear me, we will not become a communist or even socialist country, either way, as that is not the meaning of equality in our Constitution, and that is the energy that guides her. On the other hand, in our pursuit of capitalism and power we have lost our balance. We are still trying to find our way in the meaning of "and justice for all" as that is key to our Humanity.

On the Soul level, humanity has gone through many ages and we are on the precipice of another. We are leaning into the Age of Aquarius. And so, we must evolve, we must take quantum leaps in consciousness. We are here to learn that we are not our thoughts or emotions but we are energy and we can guide those thoughts and emotions (which are energy) to create outcomes that are in the Highest for ourselves and Humanity.

And, as energy we are all connected, to eachother and all things. What affects one affects the other. This has been taught in every major religion and philosophy for eons, and now it is here, the consciousness.

So, you can see how it doesn't matter who wins the election, and maybe even will torture us with uncertainty until we surrender to the higher ideal that we are all connected and need to be holding love in our hearts for the highest outcome no matter how it looks to us personally. When we can do this, we are open and the Universe can work healing miracles.

3. What can I do about it?

Read the last 3 paragraphs above again.

For additional clarity, we need to first get out of magical thinking, like some particular outcome is going to solve or destroy everything.

And get into understanding and accepting that "we can do hard things", and "resistance equals suffering". I don't mean political resistance, I mean spiritual resistance; to letting go, releasing our fears, a reluctance to trust and being stuck in or attached to our ego (being right).

Then we can get into true magical (energetic) thinking as I explained above.

I keep *seeing* you, me, a collective us, in a garden, living creatively, simply and in joy and collaboration, we are detached energetically from chaos until the chaos dissipates. Does this speak to you too? I don't think it needs to be literal though for some it is or will be.

2020 is a 4 year and has been about creating a new foundation in our lives, by discovering what our strengths are and what really matters to us and who. I hope you are continuing to define and create what this means for you. In pursuit of building that new foundation my phrase for 2020 is "Surrender the resistance to doing hard things". Whether that is in creating or letting go, standing in your power or surrendering what is to a Higher Power. Thank goodness we still have a few more months. The payoff is going to be amazing!

As we move into 2021 it is a 5 year. 5 is the number of change through expansion of the higher mind, adventure, will, freedom, adaptability, and connection. I urge you to keep this in mind as you think forward and surf the waves of the coming year. My phrase for 2021 is "Master your vibration" the same as it was in 2012, but at a whole new level. Basically, what lights you up? How can you create it from within? Focus on that.

This next week (and the rest of the year) will be a challenge as we move through Scorpio and Capricorn energies full of the squares, oppositions and intense conjunctions 2020 has been made famous for.

But we got this. By now we have learned how to surf above, with the occasional wipeout to teach us a little more. We have learned what we need and how to nurture ourselves and how to have good boundaries. We have learned to slow down and rest when we need to and get up and get shit done when we need to.

Challenges are opportunities to apply our growth. We are not the same person we started out 2020 as. We are still Becoming. Have faith.

July 20th New Moon In Cancer

Rare New Moon in Cancer- 28 degrees, 2nd one this month!

Sometimes I feel these energies so intensely in my human self it takes me a while to integrate and discern the lesson to share with you. Here we go…

The New Moon was exact at 28 degrees Cancer, at 10:33 am PST. Please look to that where that is in your personal chart to understand what area of your life this energy is focused in. If you need help just let me know.

The first New Moon of the month was the Solar Eclipse on the Solstice (July 4th) at 0 degree Cancer. Now it is at the end degrees of Cancer and opposing the heavyweights, Jupiter and Pluto, and specifically Saturn, all still in Capricorn.

Cancer is a water sign ruled by the Moon; our emotions have come in big waves and we feel them deeply. Since the July 4th eclipse in Cancer, we have may have been experiencing a heightened sensitivity and an accompanying depletion. A New Moon in its own sign is always a heads up powerful time.

This is the story of Yin and Yang, feminine and masculine, mother and father, and of integrating these energies inside us. The energies of Cancer (feminine) and Capricorn (masculine) are opposing each other and in a New Moon we need to integrate and balance these energies to move forward.

Cancer energy is all about home, safety, nurturing, cocooning, mothering, and getting things done, albeit cautiously and practically, as is true to Cancer’s nature. We’ve been focusing (due also to the restrictive energy of Capricorn) on staying home, staying safe, nurturing ourselves, improving our home, mastering sourdough bread and caretaking. Even if you have not been able to stay home or have to work from home, chances are these energies have been dominant. Cancer wants to make things better; whether it’s home improvement, kissing a booboo, improving your comfort or making the world (our ultimate home) a better place. Cancer and its ruler the Moon is our emotional landscape and that’s where it gets deep. The Moon is a reflective energy and one thing Cancer tends not to do is not take of itself. We all have Cancer somewhere in our chart, and of course it’s strongest if your Sun, Moon or Rising is Cancer. The Sun and Moon are asking to take care of herself now, again. And to watch out for the shadow side, to self-correct when self-nurturing has become perfectionism and/or self-indulging.

Capricorn, and its ruler Saturn, gives us (an unrelenting) reality check on how we do that. Time has come to take stock of what is working and what isn’t. Intuitively you know. He asks of us; what positive changes can I make that will make ME FEEL BETTER about myself? Eating, drinking, smoking, even working too much can make you feel better in the moment but not better about yourself. That’s the shift that has to happen here.

Just let me say, if this is you (and I haven’t talked to anyone yet that it isn’t) you are not being too sensitive or weak and there is not something wrong with you. You are having a normal reaction to an abnormal event. We just don’t want to feel worse, so we need to shift. If you need support, reach out.

In Astrology, the Moon represents the Mother and Saturn represents the Father. In the most basic sense; father energy provides and expects, while the mother energy nurtures and connects. Now we must act as our own mother and father, providing what was missing and trusting what we received.

Like a mother’s love we can love ourselves unconditionally, for who and how we are. A father’s love, well he (Saturn) has expectations because he loves us. Loving ourselves and being proud of ourselves may be two different things. And we deserve to be proud of ourselves too.

You have the opportunity to hit a reset button going all the way back to January 10th, our Full Moon in Cancer, when the Sun was also conjunct Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn. These are simply cycles that offer windows of opportunity to change. Saturn brings the pressure and Pluto brings the transformation. These two, along with Jupiter are with us all of 2020, through December in a powerful and profound way. It is best to heed their lessons along the way. Come December 2020 you will be so glad you did!!

Pluto in Capricorn is our capacity for change in 2020. How can I transform these patterns? What little change can I make that take me out of the loop of the past or where I am stuck? He is showing us where and what we need to liberate ourselves from. To both understand and accept what is out of our control and to make better choices about what is within our control to make our days better.

No astrology is here to hurt or frustrate us. The energy is here to help us grow, into our soul’s destiny on our soul’s path.

Jupiter in Capricorn gives us the openness, optimism, and hope that if I put in a little effort and make tiny adjustments, take small actions I’ll see the rewards. I’ll feel better about myself and my future. We can’t just give up, we need to stay grounded, keep believing and stay the course because it will take us someplace better!

And so, I make the emphasis on little, tiny, and small because we are overwhelmed and exhausted much of the time. And all this water energy (Mercury is in Cancer too and Neptune is in Pisces) wrapped up in a pandemic, social unrest, and ongoing uncertainty can make us very sensitive and overwhelmed by just the word “effort” or “change”. Believe me I get it. Cancer wants you to truly nurture yourself through this, but that may be different than hiding and emotionally indulging. And Saturn is here in this New Moon to point that out and give you some support/focus to make choices that will actually make you feel better instead of worse.

Ultimately, Saturn is about doing the hard stuff, and we are made to do hard stuff too. Not all the time, but sometimes, just enough to make our life feel better. You are stronger (and more sensitive) than you think, you may not like it that you have to be, but you are.

A word on Feelings: Cancer as I mentioned rules over our emotional energy; what makes us feel loved, safe and protected, nurtured and cared for. With the Sun, Moon and Mercury here, focus on creating that. Put yourself on the agenda. We are in this for the long haul and we are still processing shock and uncertainty. We can use this New Moon to move into adapting, feeling stronger and even hopeful.

Using these huge waves of emotions to work through, to channel, to focus them in a way that is not self-destructive, but helpful, creative, nurturing, and connecting (all Cancer words), requires boundaries, self-discipline, effort and focus (all Capricorn words). By integrating and keeping these opposing energies balanced we will feel better about ourselves, our future, and our ability to deal with it.

Be stingy (Capricorn) and protective (Cancer) with your energy (feelings), put it or give it only where it really matters, where it makes you feel better about yourself, and absolutely no judgment allowed (shadow of Cancer and Capricorn). That is the ultimate for this Cancer/Capricorn reset New Moon.

Solstice Ritual

This 2018 Winter Solstice is just hours before the last full Moon of 2018. I designed this ritual around that combination. It is a 2 part ritual.

Keep in mind 2018 was an 11 year, meaning the purpose of an 11 year is to master your human self; face your fears of feeling lost, not good enough and powerless (to name a few), to create the change you need to connect your human self to your soul path and to do all this through an authentic and increased connection to Spirit. You are a Spiritual Being having a Human experience.

11 is a master number and is connected to the Great Awakening. And I'm sure most of you reading this has had some kind of challenge(s) this year that brought you to a realization that things need to change, an awakening. If this is the case you have some clearing and claiming to do before you move into the new energies of 2019 and I highly recommend this exercise. A marker is always good.

The Winter Solstice is the day when we have the least amount of light in the day, and from then on we move out of the introspection of inner darkenss and begin to move towards more light, peaking at the Summer Solstice. Though we still have the winter to go through, we know it is the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one.

Solstice Ritual~

Part One~ First, write down all the fears and worries you felt during 2018, make a list. Put a check mark next to any that actually came true. Notice how many did not come true. How do you feel about all that time and energy you wasted envisioning something negative that never happened? I call this using your imagination in/to the dark. Write that down. Make a promise to not give worry and fear so much power moving forward into 2019. Write that promise down.

Next, if you had any fears that did come true, write down the lesson you learned. If you gave up on something, or failed at something, write down what you learned from the experience. How can you use it to move your forward? These are difficult experiences and you paid a high price for the wisdom it gave you, acknowlege and keep it!

Now write down all the strengths, lessons, changes, accomplishments, miracles, surprises and well, all the good stuff you got out of 2018. Put a check mark next to the ones you want to bring into 2019 with you to continue to grow in. Did your income increase? Did you make improvements to your health, you were a better communicator? Did you serve more, take care of yourself better, and love more? That's the stuff that matters, bring that with you!

Burn (represents light and letting go) this list with sage or something you like, to purify your intentions and let the remnant rise to Spirit. Say aloud or even chant out grattitudes for 2018, and that you are ready to receive your highest good on your Soul Path, and you promise to follow your intuition and guidance,trusting it will take you there, one step at a time.

Part 2~ The timing is whatever you are called to, but for this I prefer the next day, which is the first day of light and the full moon at 0 degrees in Cancer. This is the 2nd of 5 full moons at zero degrees, nothing auspicious there! To bring in the new Solstice light energy, find and choose a crystal that represents the Sun or Light to you, and a small piece of paper.

Sit with the crystal, outside if possible and meditate on the Light. Ask to be shown your hightest and best soul path for 2019. You might hear or see words and feelings, you might see a scene, continue to look with your 3rd eye. Try to listen with your spiritual ear. Try to lean into and feel what your soul wants you to feel. Whatever message you get, and however you get it, just trust it and write it down when your'e ready.

Additionally write down any wish you would like to have come true in 2019, something that feels like a big wish.

And finally write down 3 things that are non-negotionables that you would like to be, do,nor have in 2019.

Place the paper under the crystal until the Summer Soltice. Let your wishes and intentions go to the Full Moon in Cancer who will nurture, protect, and take care of it.

Bonus** Take all your crystals out tonight to charge them under this glorious Solstice Full Moon.
